Mahwah, New Jersey – September 3, 2019 – Mindray, a global developer of next generation medical devices and software, today announced the sale of its 100th flagship Resona 7 Ultrasound System in North America to Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a leading healthcare provider for the region. The company also indicates it has experienced double digit growth in North America year over year due to the growing demand for its ultrasound imaging solutions.

“Our Resona 7 System has rapidly gained acceptance from leading healthcare providers with more than 2,000 systems installed worldwide,” said Maher Elhihi, director, ultrasound marketing, Mindray. Elhihi continued, “According to the industry-leading Klein Biomedical Consultants’ 2018 report on the Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound Market in the USA, ultrasound revenues grew 10 percent in 2018 for the U.S. With these sales milestones, our ultrasound business outpaced the market growth and Mindray North America became one of the top four largest ultrasound suppliers in the U.S. per the Klein report.”
