Mindray North America is strongly committed to open interoperability system architectures and is an avid participant at leading international interoperability conferences and events. Some of the key interoperability events we regularly attend include the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Connectathon and the annual HIMSS Conference and Interoperability Showcase. Additionally, in collaboration with the Center for Medical Interoperability, Mindray has been working in partnership with the cooperative research and development lab located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Consistent with our commitment to open interoperability, all Mindray HL7 interfaces via the Mindray eGateway (an aggregator and HL7 translator for Mindray patient monitors), or via direct HL7 interface with the patient monitor, are standards-based and follow the IHE Technical Framework for Patient Care Device (PCD). By following these standards, Mindray is capable of easily and seamlessly integrating with today’s EHR and EMR platforms. This open architecture approach removes barriers in communication, accelerating appropriate sharing of vital patient information for improved patient care.
