BeneVision Distributed Patient Monitoring System – Patient Centric and Clinician Oriented

Mahwah, NJ – May 21, 2018   Mindray North America will be introducing the new BeneVision Distributed Monitoring System at the AACN/National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition in Boston, May 21st – 24th.

“The BeneVision Distributed Monitoring System sets a new industry standard for patient monitoring,” states Rich Cipolli, Vice President, Product Development at Mindray North America. “From our new intuitive touch driven user interface with icon driven menus for easy operation, to our distributed system architecture allowing our customer/partners to maximize IT resources, BeneVision DMS has been designed with our customers’ workflow in mind.” Additionally, the BeneVision DMS software application solutions (iOS®, Android and Windows® based) deliver remote, secure, and near real time viewing of monitored patients, allowing clinician access to critical patient information from anywhere.

“In today’s challenging healthcare environment, the ability to deliver relevant and critical patient data to clinicians in any setting is fundamental to enhancing outcomes and BeneVision DMS certainly meets this challenge,” said Beth Aquaviva, Marketing Manager for Patient Monitoring at Mindray North America. “Just as important, is the ability to continuously monitor a patient and provide a seamless flow of vital signs data to the patient’s electronic medical record, regardless of where a patient is located within your facility.” Mindray’s “best in class” T1 Transport Monitor/Module delivers this capability. “T1 is truly transforming patient care.  Designed to function as both an integrated bedside monitor parameter module and transport monitor, the T1 will automatically convert when removed from a monitor to a WiFi enabled transport monitor that continues sending a stream of patient data to your EMR, delivering a seamless, uninterrupted patient record.”

Mindray solutions also include industry standard communication protocols. “Mindray has long supported the use of industry standard interfaces such as the IHE PCD technical framework and HL7,” said Rich Cipolli. “Use of these standards across our portfolio of solutions can reduce the expenses that are frequently associated with proprietary protocols, such as middleware and associated license fees. Our eGateway Integration Engine can also serve as a single integration point for Mindray solutions within the hospital enterprise, reducing complexity and improving integration efficiencies.”
